UPDATE: Tractor Trailer Rollover Stymies Traffic on Interstate 80

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — A small portion of Interstate 80 in Clarion County was shut down this afternoon due to a tractor-trailer crash.

Interstate 80 westbound was shut down at Exit 64 due to a crash that occurred around 3:40 p.m. The accident involved two tractor trailers — one was blocking both lanes of traffic.

The roadway reopened around 4:22 p.m.

Traffic was diverted around the accident via the off and on ramps at Exit 64.

Clarion Fire & Hose Company No. 1 and Clarion Hospital EMS were dispatched to the scene.

Strattanville Volunteer Fire Company is assisting with traffic control approaching the accident at Exit 70.

No additional details are available at this time.

Police are expected to release additional information within the next 48 hours.
