Assault Charge Against Clarion Woman Withdrawn

CLARION TWP., Pa. (EYT) — An assault charge against a Clarion woman who was accused of striking a man during a domestic dispute was withdrawn on Tuesday.

During a preliminary hearing on November 13, a second-degree misdemeanor charge of simple assault against 28-year-old Audriania Rose Neiswonger, of Clarion, was withdrawn, according to court documents.

A summary count of harassment against Neiswonger was transferred to a non-traffic court status.

Neiswonger was accused of throwing things at a known victim and allegedly striking him with a shovel handle during a domestic dispute on October 29.

She was arraigned on Monday, October 29, in Magisterial District Judge Jeffrey C. Miller’s office, and released on a $1,500.00 cash security.
