PARKER, Pa. — Ice and heavy wet snow have caused widespread tree-related power outages leaving approximately 14,000 Central Electric Cooperative (CEC) members without service. Nine substations are de-energized due to power supply.

CEC has requested crews from multiple other cooperatives in our region and they will be joining efforts throughout the day and weekend. Our first priority remains the safety of our employees, members and the public, followed by timely restoration of all power.

Members should report outages by calling 1-800-282-8610. The cooperative thanks members for their patience during restoration efforts.

Remember to stay away from downed power lines and report them to your electric utility.

Central Electric Cooperative, Inc. is a Touchstone Energy Cooperative serving approximately 25,000 members with over 3,000 miles of distribution line in portions of Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Forest, Mercer and Venango counties.
