Maxine Southwick

CaptureMrs. Maxine Southwick, 75, formerly of Titusville, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 6:40 PM at Oakwood Heights of Oil City.

Maxine was born on March 14, 1943 in Titusville to the late George E. and Margaret Wright Chapman. She married Russell K. Southwick on August 25, 1964 in Pleasantville. He preceded her in death on May 10, 2000.

She attended Tionesta schools and was a graduate of West Forest High School, class of 1961.

Maxine worked in the dietary dept. as a dietician and was last employed at the Emerson Place.

She was a member of the Titusville Free Methodist Church.

Maxine enjoyed reading, and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her two sons, Philip Southwick and wife Amy of Parrish, FL, and Jered Southwick and Fiancé Tonja of Oil City; eleven grandchildren; one brother, Richard E. Chapman of Cleveland, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Maxine was preceded in death by three brothers, David, George and Lonnie Chapman.

Family and friends may attend a funeral service at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc. 303 N. Washington St. on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 11 AM.

Internment will be at Neiltown Cemetery.
