Vehicle Slams into Utility Pole in Green Township; Tionesta Teen Escapes Injuries

GREEN TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A vehicle slid off the roadway and struck a telephone pole in Green Township on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Marienville-based State Police, around 3:22 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, a one-vehicle crash occurred on German Hill Road in Green Township, Forest County.

Police say a 17-year-old Tionesta male was traveling south and navigating a right-hand curve in the roadway when the rear end of his 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser started to slide.

The vehicle continued to spin 360 degrees across the northbound lane of traffic and subsequently slipped off the left-hand berm and struck a telephone pole with its passenger side.

There were no injuries reported, according to police.

Tionesta Ambulance Service respond to the scene.
