KNOX TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A deer on the roadway caused a two-vehicle crash in Knox Township last week.
Clarion-based State Police said the accident happened on November 30 around 7:15 a.m. on State Route 66 just north of Madden Drive.
According to police, a 2015 Chevrolet Traverse operated by Charles E. Treat, 66, of Coudersport, struck the rear of a 2018 Subaru Forester operated by Crystal J. Hamman-Showen, 47, of Marienville, after Hamman-Showen slowed to avoid a deer on the roadway.
No injuries were reported.
Treat was cited for following too closely.
