Route 208 Reopens After Car Collides with Utility Pole

FRYBURG, Pa. (EYT) — A portion of State Route 208 was shut down on Monday evening following a crash in the Fryburg area.

According to a representative of Clarion County 9-1-1, an accident at 18893 Route 208, near St. Michael’s Church in Fryburg, was called in at 10:08 p.m. on Monday, December 3.

Marienville-based State Police , Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department, and Shippenville Ambulance were dispatched to the scene, where a vehicle collided with a utility pole.

Some nearby residents experienced a brief power outage as a result of the accident.

State Route 208 was shut down for a short period following the accident.

The scene was cleared at 12:22 a.m.

It is unknown if anyone was injured.
