Students were invited to donate the value of their November 19 board meals to the campaign; 466 students donated meals.

Donations also included $23.00 in cash and a $250.00 donation from Clarion University Alumni Association Board of Directors, as well as a $500.00 donation from Manor United Methodist Church of Shippenville.

The total raised was $1,868.00, with which Chartwells, the university’s dining service, purchased 60 turkeys and 40 hams. The turkeys and hams were donated to Clarion County Community Action, which will distribute the food to area families in need.
