State Police Calls: Criminal Trespass, Retail Theft

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Criminal Trespass in Porter Township

Police say around 6:45 p.m. on December 5, 18-year-old Michael Clinger, of Rimersburg, allegedly came onto a property located on Angus Lane to retrieve a pickup truck.

Earlier that day, he was warned once by the owner of the property not to come onto it as well as a PSP trooper, according to police.

“Clinger failed to listen to both the trooper and the owner, and came onto it anyway,” police say.

He was cited for Criminal Trespass at District Magistrate Office 18-3-04.

Retail Theft at Clarion Walmart

This incident of retail theft occurred around 12:59 a.m. on October 18, 2018, at the Monroe Township Walmart.

According to police, 49-year-old Barbara McManus and 48-year-old William Cole, both of New Castle, were taken into custody after taking $1145.30 worth of merchandise from Walmart without paying.
