Jonathan A. Wakefield

5c12cac3d60c7Jonathan A. Wakefield, 28, of Franklin, passed away on December 12, 2018.

Jonathan was born in Franklin on January 11, 1990.

He was the son of Harold and Valerie White Wakefield.

He was a 2009 graduate of Franklin High School.

After High School he enlisted in the U.S. Army.

He was deployed for one year in Afghanistan.

He was a certified welder and worked as a machinist and assembler for Century Propeller in Cranberry.

Jonathan’s passion was his 1949 Studebaker he was restoring.

In addition to his parents, Jonathan is survived by his maternal grandmother, Linda White, of Emlenton; as well as a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Justin Wakefield, who preceded him in death in 2002, his maternal grandfather, Walter White, his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Jeanne Wakefield, an uncle Thomas Wakefield, and an aunt, Linda Wakefield.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Memorial contributions in Mr. Wakefield’s name may be made to the V.A. Butler Healthcare, 353 N. Duffy Rd., Butler, PA 16001.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hile-Best Funeral Home, Inc. 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca, Cranberry Township.
