5819891_fbsJohn J. Kleck, 76, of North Hills, formerly of Titusville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family at home.

Beloved husband for 46 years of Juana (Resurreccion) Kleck. Dear father of Gregory (Susan) Kleck, Jacqueline “Jackie” (Jeremy) Metcalf and Antoinette “Tonia” (Corey) Roll. Proud grandfather of Elizabeth and Johnathan Kleck, Addison and Sean Metcalf, Ava, Isabella and Evan Roll. Brother of Judith (the late Richard) Huefner, Catherine Gates, Patricia Bates and David Kleck.

Preceded in death by parents Bernard and Genevieve (Karg) Kleck, and siblings Michael (surviving Karen) Kleck, William (surviving Paula) Kleck and Mary Pilewski.

Survived by brother-in-laws Humberto Alarcon, Juan Resurreccion, Jorge Resurreccion and sister-in-laws Yolanda Resurreccion and Doris Resurreccion; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Schellhaas & Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 1600 Stone Mansion Dr. Franklin Park, PA 15143. Mass of Christian Burial to be held in St. Teresa of Avila Church on Monday at 11:00 a.m.

John graduated from Clarion University in 1964 and went on to be an Elementary Teacher with Titusville School District for 35 years, and also a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, where he served as a financial secretary. Upon moving to the North Hills in 2004, John sang in the choir at St. Teresa of Avila Parish and became a very active member. John was also involved with the Democratic Party in Ross Twp. The family would like to thank all their relatives, friends and neighbors for their love and support.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 50 Moffett St. Pgh, PA 15243, or to the Knights of Columbus Council #13959, 1000 Avila Court Pgh, PA 15237.
