Pauline AllefterroPauline Allegretto, 87, of Summerville, passed peacefully from this life into the next on Thursday January 3, 2019 at the Clarion Hospital.

She was born on June 3, 1931 in Summerville, the daughter of the late Angelo and Caterina Allegretto.

She graduated from Summerville High School in 1949. After that she graduated from DuBois Bussiness College and went to work for Hanley Brick Co. (Now Glen Gery), retiring in 1996. Upon retiring, Pauline along with her sister operated the family store until 2011.

Pauline dedicated her whole life to taking care of those she loved. She lovingly took care of her mother, father, and later, her younger sister, Loretta. She was the most caring and unselfish person, and will always be remembered for putting others above herself.

Pauline enjoyed her flowers, springtime, playing games, collecting cookbooks, puzzles, and having friends for tea. Although she didn’t love baking, Pauline was an excellent baker.

Pauline was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Brookville.

Pauline is survived by her loving sister Loretta and numerous cousins.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Brookville on Saturday January 12, 2019 at 10 AM with Rev. William Laska, pastor, as celebrant.

Interment will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Rose Twp. Jefferson Co., PA.
