Fugitive Captured in Clarion County

PERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police say an Ohio man wanted on warrants in both Ohio and Pennsylvania was taken into custody in Clarion County early Sunday evening.

According to Clarion-based State Police, around 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 6, 21-year-old Daniel Stephen Hilliard, of Salem, Ohio, was taken into custody following a traffic stop on Spring Road in Perry Township, Clarion County.

He was wanted on a drug-related warrant in Ohio and a felony theft warrant in Venango County.

Police say Hilliard was arraigned and placed in the Clarion County Jail while he awaits extradition.
