State Police Calls: Retail Theft at Walmart, Assault in Parker, Identity Theft in Clarion Township
Retail Theft at Walmart
State police responded to Walmart located on Perkins Road in Monroe Township for a report of a retail theft.
It was learned that around 10:05 a.m. on December 23, 37-year-old Melissa Foster, of Strattanville, allegedly stole $70.98 worth of merchandise from Walmart, as follows:
– one pair of boots valued at $69.98
– a Red Bandana valued at $1.00
Assault in Parker
State police say an assault occurred around 12:15 a.m. on December 30 at a known bar located on North River Avenue in the City of Parker.
It was discovered that the victim – a 25-year-old male victim, of Pittsburgh – was involved in a verbal altercation at the bar at the above-described location.
Patrons of the bar intervened and took the victim to the ground, which resulted in the victim suffering a cut from broken glass and an injured shoulder.
No charges are pending.
Theft by Deception in Clarion Township
An unidentified actor used the victim’s credit card information to make two transactions at 3:00 p.m. on October 4.
The victim’s bank was able to identify the misuse and terminate before money was withdrawn from the victim’s account.
The victim is a 45-year-old Clarion woman.
