Family Squabble in Perry Township Turns Violent

PERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Two Parker men are facing charges after a verbal domestic dispute turned violent on Sunday night.

Court documents indicate the Clarion-based State Police filed criminal charges against 50-year-old James William Snow Jr. and 21-year-old David Allen Fouse Jr., both of Parker.

According to a criminal complaint, around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 13, Trooper Freeman, of the Clarion-based State Police, was dispatched to a residence on Doc Walker Road in Perry Township, Clarion County.

The complaint states that James William Snow Jr. and his stepson, David Allen Fouse Jr., entered into a verbal argument that turned physical.

Both men “punched, kicked, and pushed” each another, the complaint indicates.

According to the complaint, Snow had bruises on his legs, a cut on his hand, and scratches on his arms, while Fouse had a large lump and a cut on his forehead and a scratch on his neck.

Both men were arraigned at 11:45 p.m. on Sunday, January 13, in Magisterial District Judge Amy Long Turk’s office.

They each face the following charges:

  • Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 3
  • Harassment — Subject Other to Physical Contact, Summary

Unable to post $1,000.00 monetary bail each, they were lodged in the Clarion County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, with Magisterial District Judge Jeffrey C. Miller presiding.
