Ian M. Hannold, 37, of Oil City, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at UPMC Hamot in Erie.

Born May 4, 1981 in Meadville, he was the son of the late Julie Hannold.

Ian received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Edinboro University.

He enjoyed music and was a huge Star Wars fan. He loved spending time with his family.

On May 1, 2015, he was married to the former Emily Suzanne Bickel, who survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his two daughters, Elise and Madison Hannold and their mother, Tammy Buffington, all of Cranberry.

Also surviving are two sisters, Leahia and Trisha; grandmother Marjorie Mazick; father-in-law, Jeff Bickel of Oil City; mother-in-law, Debra Rodgers, and her husband, John, of Oil City; and brother-in-law Drew Bickel of Oil City.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Friends may call at the Morrison Funeral Home on Friday, January 18, from 6 pm to 8 pm, and again on Saturday, January 19, from 10 am to 11 am. Funeral services will follow at 11 am with Pastor Brad Riddle, pastor of Atlantic Avenue United Brethren Church officiating.

Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.
