One Person Rushed to Hospital After Car Crashes into Tree in Highland Twp.

HIGHLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — One person was transported to Clarion Hospital following a one-vehicle crash in Highland Township Sunday evening.

According to a representative of Clarion County 9-1-1, the call came in at 6:01 p.m. for a one-vehicle accident involving a vehicle impacting a tree near the intersection of McCleary Road and Millcreek Road in Highland Township, Clarion County.

Initial reports indicated one individual at the scene with a possible head injury.

Clarion Fire and Hose Company No. 1, Clarion Hospital Ambulance, and Clarion-based State Police were dispatched.

One patient was transported from the scene by Clarion Hospital Ambulance.

The scene was cleared around 7:20 p.m.

No additional details are available at this time.

Police are expected to release additional information within the next 48 hours.
