Clarion County Recipe of the Day: Chocolate Truffles
Here’s a divine chocolate recipe for your Valentine’s Day treats!
3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 – 14 oz.can sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Optional coatings: chocolate sprinkles, Dutch-processed cocoa, espresso powder, and cacao nibs
red fluted paper candy cups
~In a microwave, melt chocolate chips and milk; stir until smooth. Stir in vanilla. Refrigerate, covered, two hours (or until firm enough to roll).
~Shape into one-inch balls. Roll in coatings as desired.
~Insert truffles in candy cups.
