Traffic Stop in Scrubgrass Township Leads to Arrest for Marijuana Possession

SCRUBGRASS TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A traffic stop in Scrubgrass Township on Saturday night led to an arrest for the possession of marijuana.

According to Franklin-based State Police, a traffic stop was conducted near the 7200 Block of Emlenton Clintonville Road, Scrubgrass Township, Venango County, on a 1993 Ford around 7:34 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, for multiple traffic offenses.

During the course of the traffic stop, the odor of marijuana was detected emanating from the vehicle.

A probable cause search led to the discovery of a marijuana smoking pipe and marijuana.

Police arrested a known, 27-year-old Grove City man.

Charges will be filed through District Court 28-3-04.
