Try this simple recipe for your Valentine’s Day dessert!
Valentine’s Day Torte
1 – 10-3/4 oz. loaf frozen pound cake, thawed
1 – 21 oz. can cherry pie filling
1 – 8 oz. carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
1/2 cup chopped pecans
~Using a long serrated knife, cut cake horizontally into three layers.
~Place the bottom cake layer on a serving plate; top with half of the pie filling. Repeat layers. Top with remaining cake layer. Frost top and sides of cake with whipped topping.
~Sprinkle with pecans.
