Man Arrested on Suspicion of DUI Charges in Washington Township

WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State Police are investigating a possible DUI in Washington Township.

According to police, around 10:34 p.m. on Friday, February 8, a traffic stop was initiated on a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado at the intersection of State Route 208 and Hargenrader Lane in Washington Township, Clarion County.

Police say through investigation it was discovered that the driver — a 60-year-old Emlenton man — was under the influence of alcohol.

The driver was subsequently transported to Clarion Hospital for chemical testing.

The investigation remains open pending the BAC test results.

The driver’s name was not released.
