State Police Calls: Clarion Man Accused of Slapping Woman, Pouring Water on Her

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — Area State Police responded to the following calls:

Harassment in Monroe Township

According to police, around 8:25 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, Glenn Hedrick, 60, of Clarion, was cited with one count of harassment after a verbal argument became physical at a location in Monroe Township.

Police say Hedrick “open-hand slapped” a known female victim “two or three” times, pushed the victim, and poured water on her. No signs of physical injury were documented.

Retail Theft in Monroe Township

According to police, around 5:17 p.m. on Sunday, January 13, Crystal Anderson, 35, of Clarion, entered Walmart in Monroe Township and stole a total of 16 items valued at approximately $131.16.

Firearms Sale in Redbank Township

Police say a known suspect attempted to purchase a firearm at a location in Redbank Township on Friday, November 2, 2018, when he was prohibited from doing so. 

The suspect’s name was not released.

Found Property in Monroe Township

According to police, a black nylon wallet was found at the intersection of State Route 68 and Perkins Road in Monroe Township around 9:40 a.m. on Sunday, February 3.
