CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State Police are asking for the public’s help with identifying the driver in a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Tuesday in Cranberry Township, Venango County.
Franklin-based State Police Tpr. Falco said the accident happened when an unknown driver crossed over the center line of State Route 157 near Horsecreek Road and struck the a 37-year-old man’s car.
Police said the crash caused glass and other debris to be thrown onto the driver of the vehicle that was struck and his 6-year-old daughter.
The driver who caused the crash failed to stop and render aid.
The suspect’s car was identified as a silver Volkswagen sedan.
