Brindley, Paula J.-photo for obitPaula J. Brindley, age 65, of Summerville, passed away Monday morning, February 25, 2019 at the Clarion Hospital after being stricken with a sudden illness.

Born November 17, 1953 in Grove City, she was a daughter of the late Claude O. and Alta Laverne Evans Hamilton.

She was a 1971 graduate of Clarion High School and was of the Methodist faith.

Paula married Perry W. K. Brindley on May 8, 1971.

She was an owner and partner, along with her husband, in American Payroll LLC.

In earlier years, Paula enjoyed spending time on the river, waterskiing and hunting but her focus became and remained her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Perry; two sons: Jacob Neale Brindley and his wife, Wendy Dawn and Christopher Perry Brindley and Shiloh Turner, all of North Port, Florida; two grandchildren: Ian Jacob Perry Brindley and Taylor Kate Brindley.

Paula is also survived by four siblings: Richard Hamilton and his wife, Gail, of Perrysburg, Ohio; Cindy Hamilton of Hope Mills, North Carolina; John Hamilton and his wife, Kris, of Fisher and Robert Hamilton and his wife, Ellen, of Economy and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Paula was preceded in death by her In-laws, Neale and Barb Brindley.

As Paula’s wish was to be cremated, a memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.
