Clarion County Recipe of the Day: Layered Lemon Pie
This dessert is an awesome ending to any meal!
Layered Lemon Pie
1 – 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 – 15-3/4 oz. can lemon pie filling, divided
1 – 8 oz. carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 – 9-inch graham cracker crust
~In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in half of the pie filling. Fold in the whipped topping.
~Spoon into crust. Spread remaining pie filling over cream cheese layer.
~Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before serving.
