Kendrick 2Jane Brackney Kendrick (September 1, 1925 — March 7, 2019) passed away peacefully at the age of 93.

She was the beloved wife of William Addison Kendrick and mother of two children, Mary Christine Kendrick Scott and Nancy Jane Kendrick.

She was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio with one brother, William A. Brackney, and graduated from Duke University in 1947.

She met the love of her life at Duke and then got married on October 11, 1947.

As newlyweds they lived in his home town, Saginaw, Michigan and then due to his career with J.C. Penney they moved several times eventually locating in Clarion, Pennsylvania for 45 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy, five grandchildren, Mariann (Scott) Reilly, Michelle (Ross) Wendlinger, Barbara (Ross) Bergan, Miranda Scott, Patricia Ross, and eight great-grandchildren.

Jane was an avid reader, great cook, bridge player, past president of Clarion County Garden Club, and a devoted member of the Presbyterian Church.

Her funeral service will be on April 6, 2019 at 3:00 at the Goble Funeral Home in Clarion, Pennsylvania with Rev. Kevin Haley presiding.
