Suzanne “Sue” (Hoover) Wells

Wells, S Photo (2)Suzanne “Sue” (Hoover) Wells, long time resident of East Aurora, New York, born on November 19, 1955 in Oil City, Pennsylvania, to Jessie Irwin and the late Edward Hoover, passed away at age 63 on March 7, 2019 after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.

She graduated from North Clarion High School, after which she joined the Air Force. She moved to East Aurora, New York where she worked as a local mail carrier until she retired in 2018.

Sue was an avid quilter who often donated her time in creating quilt tops for the St. Joseph Rosary Society.

Sue is survived by her son, Charles Wells; daughter, Amy (Lance) Wolbransky; brothers, Andrew (Brenda) Hoover, Stephen (Brenda) Hoover, and Michael (Diane) Hoover; sisters, Donna (George) Carl and Agnes (Mark) Dechant and grandchildren, Isabella and Brennan Wolbransky.

Friends and family are welcome to attend mass on Saturday, March 16 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lucinda, with the Rev. Joseph Czarkowski, as officiant.

Interment will take place in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in Sue’s name can be made to the St. Joseph Rosary Society, PO Box 9, Lucinda, PA 16235.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Borland-Ensminger Funeral Home, Inc. in Leeper, PA.
