CLARION, Pa. — The Clarion University Sports Hall of Fame will induct five new members into the 2019 Hall of Fame Class Friday, April 26, 2019.

The inductees include Robert “Bob” Betts (1978-81; Football), D.J. Bevevino (1974-77 Diving; 2010-2016 CC & Track Coach), Susan “Susie” Fritz (1983-84 – 1986-87 Women’s Tennis), Logan J. Pearsall (2009-2011 Diving) and Don Wilson (1971-73 Men’s Basketball).
The 31st annual Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies will be held at the Gemmell Center Multi-Purpose Room, located at the corner of Payne Street and Wilson Avenue, beginning at 7 p.m. The event is open to the public. A social is set for 5:30 p.m. in the Second Floor Rotunda at the Gemmell Center.
Ticket orders are being handled by Shawna Bish at the Alumni Engagement Office, 100 Seifert Mooney Center at Clarion University. Tickets are $40.00 per person and are available online at www.clarion.edu/shof, or by contacting Bish at 814-393-2572. Checks should be made payable to Clarion “Sports Hall of Fame”. “I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the members of the Hall of Fame Class of 2019,” Clarion Athletic Director Wendy Snodgrass said. “Their contributions to the history and legacy of Golden Eagle athletics cannot be overstated, and I look forward to the chance to welcome them all back to campus on April 26 and congratulate them in person.”
