According to a representative of Clarion County 9-1-1, the call came in around 2:10 p.m. for a structure fire on Knight Town Road in Elk Township.
Shippenville-Elk Township Volunteer Fire Department and Knox Volunteer Fire Company were dispatched to the scene.
According to Jeremy Hallberg, Chief of Shippenville-Elk Township Volunteer Fire Department, the fire began when an individual who was cleaning the residence attempted to burn some papers outside.
The fire began to spread when the wind picked up and began burning parts of the yard, the nearby woods, and then spread to a two-story shed on the property.
The scene was cleared around 4:41 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
The shed was a total loss, according to Hallberg.
