Taylor Diversion Escapee Captured, Jailed on $25K Bail

TIONESTA, Pa. (EYT) — A teen from Taylor Diversion in Tionesta was located yesterday and charged with escape and other charges.

Marienville-based State Police were notified around 10:32 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26, that 18-year-old Brendon Issac Shealey, of Tionesta, escaped from Taylor Diversion located on Elm Street, in Tionesta Borough, Forest County.

After an extensive search, Shealey was located and arrested, according to police.

He was arraigned at 8:45 p.m. on March 26 in Magisterial District Judge Todd A. Woodin’s office on the following charges:

– Escape, Misdemeanor 2
– Theft By Unlawful Taking-Movable Property, Misdemeanor 3
– Disorderly Conduct Hazardous/Physical Offense, Summary

Unable to post $25,000.00 monetary bail, he was lodged in the Warren County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on April 2 with Judge Daniel L. Miller presiding.
