State Police Seeking Information on Route 36 Hit-and-Run

FARMINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State police are seeking information on a hit-and-run that occurred on Sunday morning on State Route 36 in Farmington Township.

According to Marienville-based State Police, the accident happened around 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 31, on Route 36, 119 feet east of Mealy Drive, in Farmington Township, Clarion County.

Police say the vehicle was traveling southbound when it failed to negotiate a right-hand curve in the roadway. It then traveled off the northbound lane of the roadway and subsequently struck three traffic signs. It then continued another 400 feet through the victim’s yard and eventually back onto the roadway and then fled the scene.

The vehicle is described as a dark blue Hyundai Sonata, with the model year of 2011 to 2014.
