BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — Two Brookville students are in custody after authorities discovered they were planning to execute a school shooting.

The investigation was initiated on Friday, March 29, after Brookville Police received information related to the juveniles’ alleged plans to carry out a school shooting at Brookville Junior-Senior High School.

Through further investigation, authorities determined the juveniles had detailed plans and “spoke of what they planned to do with their peers. ”

Both juveniles have been charged with terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct.

They were taken into custody by Brookville Police and later turned over to Jefferson County Juvenile Probation.

Both boys are currently being held in a juvenile detention center.
