Bicyclist Struck by Vehicle in Shippenville

PAINT TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A bicyclist was transported to Clarion Hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Paint Township on Sunday evening.

According to a representative of Clarion County 9-1-1, the call came in around 6:47 p.m. for a vehicle accident involving a bicyclist near 22793 Route 66.

Shippenville Elk Twp. Volunteer Fire Department, Clarion Hospital Ambulance, and Clarion-based State Police were dispatched to the scene.

The bicyclist, whose name has not been released, was transported to Clarion Hospital for injuries of unknown severity.

The scene was cleared around 7:54 p.m.

No further information has been released.
