DUBOIS, Pa. — Penn State DuBois baseball split a doubleheader at home with PSU Mont Alto on Saturday afternoon.

DuBois scored in every inning of 12-2 game one victory. Isaac Stouffer (Punxsutawney) hit his 4th home run of the season in the bottom of the 3rd inning. Zane Morgan (Clearfield) and Toner Corl (Central Mountain) each had 2 hits and 3 RBI’s, including a triple and a double, respectively.

Brandon Orsich (Clearfield) pitched a complete game for DuBois allowing 2 runs on 7 hits. Orsich faced 26 batters in 6 innings of work.

HiCorl and Clayton Butler (Central Mountain) combined for 4 out of the 7 hits for DuBois in a 13-3 loss. The team struggled to find the gaps offensively, and scored just 3 runs on the game as they lost their first PSUAC game of the year.

Logan Johnson (Penns Valley) got the start for DuBois, but even the 6 pitchers that came in for relief were not enough today as DuBois would end their PSUAC win streak with a 13-3 loss.
