William Joseph “Joe” Watson, 60, of 600 Oleopolis Rd. Oil City, died at 11:06 a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2019, at his home.

Born Feb. 4, 1959, in Oil City, he was the son of the late William R. Watson and Doris Leadbetter Watson.

Joe was a graduate of Oil City High School.

He was previously married to Cindy Chrispen and Stella Russell, both survive.

Joe had worked at Electralloy in Oil City for many years where he had held several positions.

He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and his rabbit hunting dogs.

He is survived by his loving children, Sara Watson of Pittsburgh and Jack Watson and his companion Katie McClellan of Oil City; four stepchildren, Steve Drozdo and his wife Valerie Emily Drozdo, Joseph Drozdo and Jackie Holt; a sister, Sandy Hanna of Oil City; and a brother, Bob Watson and his wife Sharon of Cranberry.

Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Joe’s cousin Rev. Bonnie Stoudt presiding.

Interment will be in Plumer Cemetery.
