Parker Man Accused of Sending Photos of Genitals to Teen Waives Hearing

PAINT TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A Parker man who allegedly sent explicit photos to a 14-year-old waived his preliminary hearing in court on Tuesday.

According to court documents, the following charges against 30-year-old Nathan Scott Moser, of Parker, were waived for court on Tuesday, April 23:

– Photograph/Film/Depict on Computer Sex Act — Knowingly or Permitting Child, Felony 2
– Corruption Of Minors — Defendant Age 18 or Above, Felony 3
– Indecent Exposure, Misdemeanor 1
– Open Lewdness, Misdemeanor 3

The charges have been transferred to the Clarion County Court of Common Pleas.

Moser remains lodged in the Clarion County Jail on $25,000.00 monetary bail.

Details of the case:

According to a criminal complaint, Trooper Berggren, of Clarion-based State Police, was assigned to investigate a report of indecent exposure on July 3, 2018, after an initial report was taken on June 22, 2018, by Trooper Jarrett.

The complaint states that Nathan Scott Moser sent pictures of his genitals through Facebook Messenger to a known victim, 14 years of age.

According to the complaint, the 14-year-old victim stated that Moser was aware of his/her age, while Moser was 29 years old at the time of the incident. The incident occurred while the victim was at a residence in Paint Township, Clarion County.

The complaint states that Trooper Berggren interviewed Moser, and Moser allegedly admitted to sending the photos. Moser also substantiated the victim’s claims by identifying himself in various pictures, including the explicit photographs and provided Trooper Berggren with a written statement.

Moser was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Timothy P. Schill at 1:12 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16.
