HARRISBURG, Pa. – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) is providing a special panfish fishing opportunity for youth anglers and their mentors on Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2.

This special event will take place at Pymatuning Sanctuary at the Linesville State Fish Hatchery located at 13300 Hartstown Rd. Linesville, PA 16424.

Registration for this event is required and space is limited.

Two sessions will be held on each day, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., allowing catch-and-release fishing within the sanctuary, which is normally closed to public fishing. All other Commonwealth Inland Water regulations apply. Waterways Conservation Officers and PFBC education staff will be on hand to assist the mentored youth participants with fishing. Bait and tackle will be provided for FREE to all registered participants, and no outside fishing equipment will be permitted.
