Miller Clinches Both Nominations in District Court 18-3-04

NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. (EYT) — Incumbent candidate Jeffrey Miller has clinched both the GOP and the Democratic nominations for Magisterial District Judge in District Court 18-3-04 in Tuesday’s primary election.

Miller won the Republican nomination with 1535 votes, beating Michelle Ritzler who took 467 votes.

He also took the nomination on the Democratic ballot with 491 votes to Ritzler’s 240 votes.

The district for the office covers the Boroughs of Callensburg, East Brady, Hawthorn, New Bethlehem, Rimersburg, and Sligo and the Townships of Brady, Licking, Limestone, Madison, Perry, Piney, Porter, Redbank, and Toby.

Miller is seeking re-election for his third term.

He was first elected to the District Magistrate’s position in 2007 following Daniel P. George’s retirement.
