State Police Calls: Theft of Services, Terroristic Threats, Harassment

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — State police responded to the following calls:

Theft of Services in Sligo Borough

Around 3:52 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, Clarion-based State Police were dispatched to a location on Madison Street for a report of a theft of services.

According to police, upon an interview of the victim, it was discovered that someone had been throwing trash in his dumpster over the past week or two.

Police say that based on the evidence found in the trash combined with interviews, a suspect was identified.

Terroristic Threats in Clarion Township

Clarion-based State Police were dispatched to a location on U.S. 322 at Country Living Trailer Park around 9:49 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, for a domestic dispute in progress.

According to police, upon arrival, they were met by the victims, listed as a 40-year-old Strattanville woman and a 23-year-old Strattanville man, who disclosed the details of the incident.

One victim had signs of recent bodily injury

Police say 61-year-old Kent Hilliard, of Strattanville, was subsequently arrested.

Harassment in Clarion Township

According to police, around 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, two known individuals were involved in a physical altercation at a location on South 5th Avenue in Clarion Township.

Police say the altercation involved the two individuals pushing and shoving one another.

Harassment in Clarion Township

Clarion-based State Police were dispatched to a location on Staab Road in Clarion Township around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, for a report of harassment.

Police say the reporting party met them on the front porch of the residence to report neighbor problems and stated that the neighbors had been going by, yelling profanities and calling the victim, a one-year-old female Corsica resident, inappropriate names.

According to police, a 13-year-old female Strattanville resident and a 12-year-old male Strattanville resident were cited for harassment.
