State Police Calls: Sexual Assault of 3-Year-Old Girl Being Investigated

CLARION/WARREN CO., Pa. (EYT) — State police responded to the following calls:

Indecent Assault in Elk Township

Clarion-based State Police received a reported of suspected child abuse of a three-year-old child at a location on Pine City Road, in Elk Township, Clarion County.

Police say the incident occurred sometime between 8:00 a.m. on May 1 and 8:00 a.m. on May 14.

The victim is a three-year-old girl from Blairsville, Pa.

The investigation is continuing.

Lost Pistol on Tionesta Creek

Marienville-based State Police say two known individuals entered the barracks to report a lost firearm that occurred on Tionesta Creek, in Sheffield Township, Warren County.

While the individuals were floating on the Tionesta Creek on Thursday, May 23, around 7:00 p.m., their canoe became stuck and began to tip over.

Multiple items were lost overboard including a black in color Jennings semi-automatic .22 caliber pistol. It was in the pocket of one of the individual’s khaki colored fishing vest which was also lost.
