Kathy L. Bellis

kathyKathy L. Bellis, 63, of Cranberry, died Sunday afternoon, May 26, 2019, at UPMC Hamot Hospital in Erie.

She was born December 13, 1955, to the late Wayne and Patty (Miller) Johnson.

Kathy was a graduate of Cranberry High School.

She enjoyed crafting, hunting, and fishing.

She was employed by Cranberry Bus Company as a school bus driver for many years.

Kathy was married in Seneca on September 20, 1975, to William J. “Bill” Bellis, Sr., and he preceded her in death on April 25, 2018.

She is survived by her son, William J. Bellis, Jr. and his wife Rita of Franklin; two grandsons, Hayden and Callen Bellis; two brothers, Mike Johnson and his wife Jodi; and Dan Johnson and his wife Alma, all of Franklin; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Lillian Bellis of Franklin.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Friends and family will be received Wednesday (May 29th) from 5 — 8 p.m. in the Hile-Best Funeral Home, 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca, Cranberry Township. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home Thursday (May 30th) at 10 a.m. with Rev. Jamie Fowler, pastor of Hasson Heights Community Church, officiating. Private interment will follow in Brandon Cemetery in Cranberry.

And a final note from Kathy: “Well, this pains me to say, but I have passed. But, look back on the memories and the laughter, and smile! I have found the place where I am truly happy. Bill just came in and said that the truck and trailer are loaded for a craft show, and it’s time for me to go. Thanks to all! ”
