Cook Forest Sawmill Center for the Arts to Host Herb & Fiber Festival & Present  ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’

COOKSBURG, Pa. (EYT) – The Cook Forest Sawmill Center for the Arts will host a Herb & Fiber Festival and present a production of The Lion, the Witch, and ant the Wardrobe this weekend.

The 35th annual Herb and Fiber Festival will take place on Saturday, June 1, and Sunday, June 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

There will be hanging baskets, bedding flats, perennials, annuals, garden artists, and herbs. It will bring those looking to start their garden in contact with experienced gardeners.

Admission is free.

On Saturday, June 1, beginning at 11:30 a.m., a “Soup at the Sawmill” luncheon will also be offered. Individuals will receive a handmade pottery soup bowl (to keep), homemade soup, bread, dessert, and a drink for $12.00.

On Friday, May 31, the Clarion County Homeschoolers will debut the play The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe at the Verna Leith Sawmill Theater.

Seats for the presentation are $15.00 each.

The play will also be performed as follows:

– Saturday, June 1, at 8:00 p.m.
– Sunday, June 2, matinee at 2:00 p.m.
