Registered Sex Offender to Be Sentenced This Week for Non-Compliance

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — A Shippenville man who is listed on the PA State Megan’s Law website will be sentenced on Wednesday for failing to comply with registration of sex offenders.

According to court documents, 30-year-old Richard James Marzullo is scheduled to be sentenced at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, in front of President Judge James G. Arner on a third-degree felony charge for Failure to Register with PA State Police.

The offense date is reported as October 17, 2018. Charges were filed on December 7, 2018.

Marzullo pleaded guilty on May 8, 2019.

He is currently lodged in the Clarion County Jail on $1,000.00 monetary bail.

According to the PA State Police Megan’s Law Public Record, Marzullo was convicted on January 15, 2010, of Indecent Assault of a Minor.

His Megan’s Law Registration began on April 15, 2011.

Marzullo is required to register for 10 years.
