Geraldine Stine bwGeraldine A. Stine, 80, of Cranberry, died Friday, June 14, 2019, at Sugar Creek Station.

Born May 27, 1939, in Allegheny County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph George and Victoria Cecelia Guskey Pashauskas.

Geraldine was a 1957 graduate of St. Francis Academy in Pittsburgh.

She retired from the US Postal Service as a rural carrier in Franklin in 2000.

Mrs. Stine loved animals, especially horses. In her younger years, she taught horseback riding and raised German Shepards.

On April 4, 1962, she was married to Ronald S. Mench and he preceded her in death on April 4, 1970. Geraldine moved to Venango County with her three children in 1976, and on June 15, 1984, she was married to Robert H. Stine who preceded her in death on May 3, 2018.

Surviving are three children, Theresa Lineman (Gary) of Cranberry, Ronald Mench (Marie) of Lexington, NC, and Michael Mench (Jennifer) of Germany; two stepchildren, Martin Stine (Nancy) of Cranberry and Andrew Stine (Kimberly) of Cranberry; eight grandchildren, Cristine (Tim), Rachel (Mike), Evan, Ashley (Shawn), Ron (Amy), Charlotte, Wyatt, and Christopher; five step-grandchildren, John, Grace, Mary, Rob (Alicia), and Brian (Amy); and numerous great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are a sister, Genevieve Ferguson of Shasta, CA, and numerous nieces, nephews, and their children.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a stepson, Virgil Stine; a sister, Gertrude Miller; and four brothers, Joseph Pash, Laurence Pash, Edward Pash, and Kenneth Pash.

At Geraldine’s request, there will be no visitation.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Stephen Church on Friday at 11 am with the Rev. John L. Miller presiding.

Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Venango County Humane Society at 286 S. Main St., Seneca, PA 16346, or to the Special Olympics of Venango County at PO Box 22 Seneca, PA 16346.
