SPONSORED: Participate in the Number One Parkinson’s Exercise Program in the Country at Clarion Healthcare and Rehabilitation
Delay the Disease is designed to help people with Parkinson’s disease manage their symptoms through daily exercises.
The program can help participants:
- Move about with ease and confidence in a crowd
- Get out of bed or rise from a chair independently
- Improve handwriting
- Dress independently
- Diminish worry that stiffness, slow steps, and other symptoms are obvious
- Regain a sense of moving with normality
The program addresses all levels of Parkinson’s disease. Caregivers are also welcome to participate with their loved one in the fitness program.
Classes are being held every Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The first session is free; each session thereafter is $10.00.
For more information on the Delay the Disease program, please contact Clarion Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center at 814-226-6380 and ask for the Therapy Department.
