John C. “Jack” Lee, 70, of 7 Carson Ave. Oil City, PA. , died Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at the Collins Hospice House after an extended illness.
Born Dec. 30, 1948, in Oil City, PA., he was the son of the late Charles ”Chuck” Lee & Mildred B. “Millie” Hoover Lee.
Jack was a 1966 graduate of Oil City High School.
He was previously married to Susan Armstrong Lee for 35 years.
Jack married Catherine ”Kay” James on Dec. 22, 2006, and she survives.
Jack had started working at Riverside out of high school and then went to work for Erie Bearings. He worked many years at Pennzoil as an electrician until the plant closed.
Jack worked for the Arlington Hotel as maintenance supervisor and for Baker Auto Parts. In 2006 he started working for Joy Mfg. until 2012.
Jack was a member of the PNA Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler Fan. He also enjoyed the companionship of his dog Dottie.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepdaughter Melody Gregory and a brother Daniel Robert Lee and a sister-in-law Judy Sobina.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
Funeral Services will be at the family’s convenience.
