John A. Stefanosky, 83, of Clarion, passed away Saturday evening, June 22, 2019, at the Clarion Hospital.

He was born on December 4, 1935, in Rochester, PA; son of the late Paul G. and Helen Roscoe Stefanosky.

John married Eileen F. McPherson on October 6, 1956, and she survives.

He worked as a crane operator for the Steel Mill.

John attended the Helen Furnace Methodist Church.

He was an avid car memorabilia and enjoyed collecting matchbox cars.
John is survived by his loving wife; his son: Joe P. Stefanosky of New Brighton, PA; three grandchildren: Elyse Stefanosky of Beaver Falls, PA, and Daniel Stefanosky and Tanya Feola, both of Gainesville, FL; and six great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his sister: Teresa Bostanic of Rochester, PA.
John was preceded in death by his parents; two sons: John and Scott Stefanosky; two great-grandsons: Devin and Austin Stefanosky; and his brother: Harvey Stefanosky.

There will be no public visitation.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
