According to court documents, Marienville-based State Police filed criminal charges against 24-year-old Kendra Lea Fordham, of Morgan, Allegheny County, Pa.

The charges are the result of a domestic altercation that occurred on Sunday, July 7, at a residence on Neiltown Road, in Pleasantville, Harmony Township, Forest County.

According to a criminal complaint filed by Trooper Bell, of PSP Marienville, the incident took place inside a residence at the above-described location around 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 7.

A verbal altercation occurred between Kendra Fordham and her family members, the complaint states.

Fordham “then picked up two kitchen knives measuring 14 1/2 inches and 17 inches in length and attacked her brother,” according to the complaint.

The male victim pushed Fordham and grabbed her in a bear hug and threw her onto a couch and came down on top of her. He then got up and walked away.

According to the complaint, as the male victim was walking away, Fordham picked up a plate and threw it at him. The plate struck him in the back of the head and then hit the floor and broke.

Fordham was arraigned at 6:29 p.m. on July 7 in Judge Daniel L. Miller’s office on the following charges:

– Aggravated Assault, Felony 2
– Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 2
– Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Misdemeanor 2
– Harassment – Subject Other to Physical Contact, Summary

Unable to post $20,000.00 monetary bail, she was lodged in the Warren County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. on July 16 with Judge Miller presiding.
