District 9 had six first-team selections and five second-team choices. Players were nominated by their coaches.

The first-team choices included five in Class 1A including District 9 MVP and Offensive Player of the Year Ashley Wruble of DuBois Central Catholic (Sr., Utility Player) and District 9 Pitcher of the Year Kait Constantino of Clarion (Jr., Pitcher).

Joining Wruble and Constantino in earning first-team Class 1A honors were DCC’s Mia Meholick (So, Catcher), Avery Sickeri (Fr., Third Base) and Carley Semanick (Sr., Outfield).

Also earning a first-team nod in Class 2A was Curwensville freshman Joslynee Freyer (Designated Hitter).

DCC and Curwensville each had a second-team choice as well with junior shortstop Shay Gulvas giving the Lady Cardinals five all-state choices in Class 1A and sophomore shortstop Abby Pentz giving the Lady Tide a pair of Class 2A choices.

Joining Gulvas on the second-team in Class 2A was Elk County Catholic senior outfielder Sady VanAlstine, while Clearfield freshman Emma Hipps, the Rookie of the Year, was a second-team choice in Class 3A at designated hitter (although her primary position for the Lady Bison was pitcher) while DuBois freshman Lauren Walker was a second-team choice in Class 5A in the outfield.
