Registration Begins on August 1 for Armstrong Trail Ride: RIDE, EAT, REPEAT

EAST BRADY, Pa. (EYT) — Registration begins on August 1 for a fall bicycle ride on the Armstrong Trail called RIDE, EAT, REPEAT hosted by the East Brady Area Development Corporation (EBADC).

The event will take place on Saturday, September 21, with three ride start points and times at 9:00 a.m. in Kittanning (for 48 miles round trip); 10:00 a.m. in Templeton (for 30 miles round trip); and a flexible start time — anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. in East Brady. Riders and walkers starting in East Brady will ride out and back as far as they choose.  Town and trail maps, fruit, snacks and water will be available at all start points.

A progressive lunch is included in the fee and will be provided by the East Brady First Presbyterian Church (soups and beverages), the East Brady Baptist Church (sandwiches and beverages), and the East Brady United Methodist Church (homemade apple dumplings, coffee, and tea). Vegetarian options will be available. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Lunch walk-ins are welcome. All churches are on the ride route.

The fee is $30.00 for adults and $20.00 for children 12 and under.

The fee for registrations received after September 11 or for walk-ins will be $35.00.
